Recently, Travel & Leisure released the results of the most recent "Friendliest Cities" survey. Readers nominated not 1, but THREE of our state's cities as being exceptionally friendly! The state motto of Texas is simply "Friendly". With results like this, it's easy to see why.
Three of our cities were in the Top Ten, and ….wait for it….SAN ANTONIO is NUMBER 1!!!

I recently moved to a new home that was designed by my husband and myself. It's awesome! I'll go into the process a bit more later – after we get more settled! For now any spare time has been consumed by unpacking and arranging. El Jefe – my husband – has put his heart and soul into our new home. Last night, he started the organization of our garage, a monumental task. Many of our belongings have been in storage for three years. Finding a place to put everything has been a challenge! I came across this article about organizing the garage from the website Houzz. The Houzz website and online community offers great information and ideas about architecture, interior design and decorating, landscape design and home improvement. The article below has given us many ideas. If you're thinking of putting your home on the market, a neatly organized garage area can be a real asset in marketing your home. Even if you're not selling, it just feels good to walk into a fresh, well maintained space!
